BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success) program is a before-school physical activity program that gets children moving through fun games and activities. Physical activity has been proven to improve brain function. BOKS gets children ready for a day of optimal learning!
Job Summary: Coordinate and lead BOKS session throughout the school week utilizing the provided resources and training from BOKS Programming. These include such things as:
- Burst Movement Breaks
Physical Activity Plans
Monthly Physical Activity Calendar
Mindfulness & Movement Flows
Games and Activities.
Promote BOKS with the school community to gain interest from students
Maintain a positive learning environment, where all students are encouraged to participate.Gain
access to BOKS Trainer Hub to access resources and materials
Conduct registration of student participants
Keep attendance roster and records
Utilize athletic equipment within program activities
Explain and lead activities within the curriculum
Assist in collection of parent, student and teacher surveys data
Collaborate with school principals to coordinate data connected to program participants and student achievement
Other related duties as assigned.
- 2 years working with children k-12 preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Walk, climb stairs, run, bend and lift up to 45lbs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must provide a current national background check without disqualifying results at time of hire.
